A “pet snail” was rescued from a cat’s crate and put on display.
In this video, the kitten can be seen hopping on the pet snail and playing with it as he and his owner watch on.
The cat’s owner says the cat “just wants to be with her”.
“It’s a good reminder to everyone to keep your pets in their cages, and not to touch them,” said the owner of the pet.
The cat was rescued by a pet snail rescue organization and put in a cage to be cared for by its owner.
A kitten named Pete was rescued on Oct. 29, 2018, by a friend of a cat owner who was unable to care for her cat.
She said the cat had been abandoned and wandering around for several months.
The kitten was brought to the Animal Care Society of Victoria, where he spent several days learning to sit and walk.
It was after this time that he was rescued.
A photo of the cat with its owners was posted on Facebook.
The animal care society said it would like to thank PetSnail Rescue for helping to rescue the cat and putting it on display, and also for donating a cat bed.
The group said the cats owner was thankful to PetSnab Rescue for its “incredible” work and said it will continue to provide the cats with “hugs and kisses”.
